It’s Important To Have A Wedding Day Timeline
You spend a lot of time and money planning your wedding day. On your wedding day you will be very busy, it will go by very fast and things can get off track very fast. Many officiants are forgiving if your ceremony starts a little late but many times they do have other services planned after your wedding. Catering companies get upset when the bridal party shows up late for dinner and you don’t want to keep your guests waiting for dinner. This is also the best time of the day that you and your bridal party have a little time to unwind and celebrate your marriage in private before the reception. Though we will be taking pictures, I also allow and encourage fun. If things start running late the thing that usually suffers is the time for your wedding photography. Besides each other, your wedding pictures will be the only thing you have from this very special day when it’s all over. If you have any questions about your wedding day timeline, please don’t hesitate to ask. I do have some tips below that may help you plan your day. As you can see it will get booked up rather quickly because of the time needed to make for a fun filled day without having to rush.
Wedding Day Timeline Tips
If your your hairdresser tells you to plan on thirty minutes, plan on at least forty five. If there is the need for any traveling, add extra time because you never know when there may be a traffic jam. If you have children, in the wedding party or not, it’s best to plan on having someone taking care of them for the day. Make sure everyone in the wedding party knows when and where they are supposed to be. If you have a lot of guests at your ceremony, the greeting line will take much time. If want your pictures taken at a different location, that travel time must be counted for as well.
